Shelby

How she knew she wanted to be a veterinary technician: as a young girl, she resuscitated a newborn kitten that was born lifeless under my parent’s house, who then became a beloved childhood pet. She adapted the saying “Because of your life, I will save many more.”

Hobbies include watching scary movies, camping, concerts, and watching sports with my family.

Goals: to continue to improve overall care to patients and create a trusting bond between owners and their veterinary care team.

As a lifelong soccer player, Kelly also works as a soccer coach, teaching others the game she loves. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, fishing, hiking, and reading. Kelly finds herself fluent in sarcasm, as well as semi-fluent in Sign Language; something that will help us here at the hospital, as well as her future career endeavors.
