Cold Laser Therapy for Pets
A Gentle, Effective Way to Reduce Pain and Promote Healing
At our hospital, we’re always looking for safe, non-invasive ways to help your pets feel better. One of the most effective tools we offer is cold laser therapy—also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT). This advanced treatment helps reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and speed up healing without medication or surgery.
What Is Cold Laser Therapy?
Cold laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cells within the body. This light penetrates tissue and encourages natural healing processes at a cellular level.
It’s called “cold” laser because it does not generate heat or cause discomfort—your pet will simply feel a gentle, soothing sensation.
What Conditions Can It Help Treat?
Cold laser therapy is commonly used for a wide variety of conditions, including:
- Arthritis and joint pain
- Hip dysplasia
- Back and neck pain
- Post-surgical healing
- Soft tissue injuries (sprains, strains)
- Wound healing
- Ear infections
- Dental inflammation
If your pet is experiencing pain, stiffness, or slow healing, this therapy may be a great option.
Is Your Pet a Candidate?
If your pet is slowing down, showing signs of discomfort, or recovering from surgery or injury, cold laser therapy may help them feel better and heal faster.
We’d be happy to evaluate your pet and create a customized treatment plan.
