Grooming will keep your pet’s skin healthy, comfortable, and clean. During your pet’s visit, special attention is given to often over-looked parts of the body.
During a groom, the skin is thoroughly inspected for early detection of sores, growths and bald spots. The hair around the eyes, ears, mouth, paw pads, and perianal region are all cleaned and trimmed, keeping them free of irritants and mats. Nails are checked and trimmed; overgrown toenails contribute to a number of issues including chiropractic problems, joint pain and stiffness.
There are many benefits to having your dog or cat groomed. While frequency will depend on the breed, coat type and lifestyle of your pet, regular grooming sessions will help your pet to remain a healthy and clean companion to you.
*Required canine vaccines for grooming include: Rabies, Leptospirosis, DAP within the last 1-3 years depending on the vaccine given and Bordetella and Fecal Exam within the last 6 months. Cats must be current on Rabies and FVRCP.
